Once Kunark comes out, or for those iffy on their class and may change, if the other character is kept as an alt, will there be an alt/main column on the roster, or will alts just be taken off of the page on the site and left in the guild? Thought of this goin' over the site. Yay Kelethin music. Hehe.

I will probably have something on the roster indicating alts.
The way the dkp point system will work for alts is say a sword drops. Main #1 wants it and bids 4 guild points. Alt #1 wants it and has and wants to bid 44 guild points. Even though the alt has a lot more guild points than the main, the main gets it.
Ok, another situation.
A chestplate drops and no main wants it, alt #1 is bidding 3 points and alt #2 wants it and is bidding 5 points. Alt #2 gets it. So in a way, yes alts and mains share their own points, but mains of characters always come first.
Switching alts and mains is something we don't want to encourage to happen too often, but then again we don't want people getting bored of their character or just leaving THO because of this silly reason. That is why we are going to let people switch their alts and mains at a maximum of once a year. If they switch their alt and main will cost them 5 guild points. The second time it will cost them 10. The third time will cost them 15, etc. etc.
This reminded me of alts and the DKP system, thank you very much I will add that to the GRLS sometime soon.

Sounds good, as long as people cannot switch mains and alts consistently at will. Once a year is good.

Oh wow. Okay. Sounds good...honestly, I think a Bard will be tough, having never played one, but I wanna stick it out until Kunark...then yay ikky monk! Once a year sounds very cool actually. Good plan!

I'm a bit confused. Does this mean switching mains is free once a year, and then any more than that penalizes your guild loot points? (I like that idea, just making sure I understand)
