Do you like the guild name, The Holy Order?
I like it a lot. I actually combined the names of several other guilds I have been in before:
The House of Pain, Holy Crusaders, and Order of the Ancient Dragon.
What do you guys think?

I like it, "The Holy Order" makes us sound as though our actions are sanctioned by a deity, or a group of deities. It makes us sound important, but above everything else, it sounds cool.

It's okay. Don't get me wrong, I like the name, there've just been a few I like better in my MMOing past. Also, the acronym formed can be made fun of fairly easily. But really, I like it.

From an RP stand point it is pretty cool. Just the idea of having my iksar in it is kinda funny... Considering all they do is hate and despise all that is even remotely good-doing.
But THO's cause is right and good meaning. I think the name fits.

By the way, I have talked to the guildleader of the Cazicites, and both of us agreed that a roleplaying guildwar would be great. We had this cool idea where The Holy Order would try to make a blockade and protect Freeport from them. Sounds fun, doesn't it?

I think its ok but as deolok said, i plan on playing an SK and then a Ikky by Kunark so to be in some Holy order is sort of a faux-pas. But i have researched guilds before making my decision and the description appealed to me.

I fixed up some lore for you guys so that Ogre Warriors don't fit in... I realized how stupid it would be to have an Ogre or Troll be in a guild called "The Holy Order".

Lore? All you need to know is Dalkice will come along and Ice Comet them back to the swamp. Problem solved. =P

Technically, by that logic, Dalkice wouldn't fit in either, they are arguably as evil. Perhaps instead of alienating them as a race, we alienate their particular guild because they have conflicting plans, namely, having Freeport not Ogre-ized. Holy doesn't mean good, just means that our guild has some divine significance.

Yep, exactly as Aaniadyen said. The word Holy doesn't mean good or evil, it just means something that is driven by Religion or Belief.

Then Dalkice fits in less, since he's an Agnostic wizard. =P
