That's why you don't form parties with all Chaotic Evil chars. Then you get a Menzoberranzan (Or any Drow city, really) situation. Either way though, it's not like we'd be forcing anyone to raiding their own city. From an RP standpoint I can understand why they'd get pissed and leave, but realistically, it's we wouldn't be forcing them to ruin their faction. I don't like the idea of city raids, but that's not why I don't like it. The reason why I don't like it is because assuming we do somehow pump out a perfect system where we have different groups raiding opposing cities the guild will become rather divided. It would enforce the idea of different groups of friends forming in the guild, and it'll seem less like a guild, and seem more like a general chat type of thing. Beyond that though, it makes no sense from an RP standpoint. The hell kind of organization raids cities regardless of their alignment? We're not called "The Harpers" the last time I checked.

Well to me Rping is like people that start singing and dancing in the middle of a war movie .... thats all im gonna say about that. I like the lore of EQ and the story lines, factions yes, some people take it too far to my likes but if they enjoy the game that way and play their class well so be it, i also found that people will waste alot of time arguing about the whole RP subject, i can spare some time on EQ but i do have a life outside the box, my time on EQ can be precious.

I have to agree with Aandi and the others who say City Raiding wouldn't make much sense - If you're RPing, it's rather a silly idea to justify in-character, and if you're a casual player, why waste your time on that particular raid? There are way more fun ones that actually yield useful items.

Yes, but this guild isn't based completely on that, it would probably be a one or two week deal. I agree, city raiding seems kind of a waste just for roleplaying, for one it could ruin people's faction which is never fun to fix, you don't get any good items out of it to help the guild move forward, and we might make other players that use the NPCs angry at us.

Well to me Rping is like people that start singing and dancing in the middle of a war movie .... Funny you should say that - it was usually the non-rpers doing that while we were in the middle of a war in my experience. Nothing like having someone strip off their clothes and dance while saying "lol" during a startup to a pvp battle...If it's not your thing, it's not your thing, but if it isn't your thing, no need to bash it. In any event, I'm meeting a few of the rp-types on Clumsy's server, and it's rather fun, nothing high pressure and not cliche either so having a blast so far. I think the community as a whole will be rather sensible with it, though there's always going to be a few who get a bit too "urgh" with it

That guild concept is being done.Granted I haven't seen them around in a while, but they might not be too keen on having a guild about which essentially has the same idea, guild dramatics being what they can be. I don't see a problem. That's like saying, we can't be a raiding guild, because someone already started a raiding guild. Silly. The only people who should dictate what this guild does is the leader, or the members if Cas want to be democratic about it.
